Today I’m once again sharing my latest shop exploration experience. A couple of days ago I was free and just strolling along Sukhumvit Road when I ran into an old acquaintance — the mama-san of Aiyume. Through her recommendation, I ended up at the place where her dream first began, the starting point of her journey from employee to business owner.

This is the first shop she opened, called Aimi. Well, since I was already there, it would be a waste not to try it, right? So I went and experienced it thoroughly for the brothers. Aimi is the sister shop of Aiyume, also located on Sukhumvit Soi 18. The two shops are extremely close to each other. For the owner, this is convenient for management and for moving staff between the two locations. Otherwise, having one shop in Pattaya and another in Bangkok would mean constant traveling back and forth, which would eventually affect shop management and service quality. To avoid these problems, she simply opened both shops on the same street. But doesn’t this create competition for customers between the two?

Rooms and operating hours

Unlike Aiyume’s decoration style, Aimi has been open longer and has accumulated a large number of regular customers. The front desk staff speak Chinese, which shows that there are many Chinese customers. One strange thing about this shop is that while most places stay open until late at night, Aimi only operates until 10 pm, and it opens very early — at 10 am. This suggests that many of its customers are high-net-worth people who work nearby and prefer to play during the daytime. The shop has clearly used various methods to win over a lot of loyal customers.

Compared with the pink, girly atmosphere of the newer shop Aiyume, Aimi focuses on a clean and tidy Japanese style. The Japanese-inspired decoration perfectly captures the essence of Japanese aesthetics. The moment you walk in, it feels like you’ve entered a real Japanese restaurant. The interior is spacious, clean, bright, and well-lit. Bright lighting means you can see everything clearly, which also indicates that the hygiene standards must be very high — any stain on a white surface would be immediately visible.

Playing tips

Aimi has some very beautiful S-class girls with excellent service, but unfortunately there are only one or two of them. You must make a reservation in advance; you can’t just walk in and choose freely. So for brothers who have high requirements for various standards, you must develop the habit of booking ahead!

About the prices

After arriving at the shop and listening to the front desk introduce their full range of packages, I couldn’t help but think of a classic line by Dylan Thomas:

“Do not go gentle into that good night.”

For the brothers, it means: Don’t walk into Aimi already tired. Because here, the service is only limited by time, not by the number of rounds. This is a huge advantage. Many other shops limit the number of times (for example, 2 times in 90 minutes), but one of the packages here has no limit at all. As long as you’re young and have good stamina, you can really make a killing here — it’s like a fitness enthusiast who works up a sweat in the gym and then goes to an all-you-can-eat buffet.

So, do not go gentle into that good night. Do not be drowned by the gloomy dusk. Roar, brothers!

The basic package here is 50 minutes for 3,000 baht. From the perspective of both hardware and software, I think it’s decent. Overall, I left quite satisfied. In the future I’ll continue looking for more fun and delicious “all-you-can-eat” experiences for everyone.

If you want to go, you can take Grab or Bolt directly in Thailand. If you don’t know how to call a motorbike taxi, you can also check my Bangkok nightlife guide, which has detailed transportation tips for Bangkok and Pattaya.
